The Department of Mechanical Engineering supports the mission of the Faculty of Engineering. Therefore, it designs its educational, research, and service activities to create the best possible undergraduate program. The aim of our department is to train students who can perform engineering services in national and international companies in the field of mechanical engineering, with an emphasis on ethical values and a critical thinking approach in professional interactions, along with a desire for continuous self-improvement and communication experience. We prepare our students for their professional careers with a strong focus on computer technology support, particularly in the fields of robotics and mechatronics, design and manufacturing, machinery, vehicle dynamics and control, transport systems, thermal and energy conversion systems, combustion, heat transfer and fluid dynamics, engines, environment, lubrication, and nanotechnology.
